I didn’t know a thing about Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram when I signed up for this review and I about gave up when I realized how much history and culture was behind it. But! I stuck it out, did my homework and think this review came out very well! Read the full thing at NfamousGamers!

Some games are more than the sum of their parts. Their presence goes beyond the arcade cabinet that contains their circuit boards or the disc that holds their bits. Street Fighter II is one of those games with over a decade of famous players and culture that has cultivated a worldwide community of hardcore fans. Sega’s Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram — the second in the series of one-on-one arena-based fighters — birthed a community of fans and innovative players that’s every bit as dedicated as Capcom’s, and just as active today.
