Hulk Returns: More Awkwardly Close to being Naked than Ever!

I was a little late on this one as it looks like both Joystiq and Nintendo Wii Fanboy beat me to the post but I had to share my 2 Microsoft Points. I’m excited for more open-world, console Hulk madness after Ultimate Destruction but with the green torch of rage being passed to developer Edge of Reality, I’m a little wary as to how much fun this one’s going to be. Expanded free-roaming fun is promised and Hulk’s 3D model looks slick but it’s also being cross-developed for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, and PC so it surely won’t blow anyone away. With more competition in the sandbox this year than ever before (namely from Prototype and GTA4) I’m actually more excited about the DS version.

Any game that tracks your progress by tallying how much stuff you’ve smashed gets my vote, and from this first look it reminds me quite a bit of Rampage. It’s really the best we can hope for from a movie licensed portable game. All versions are scheduled to ship this June alongside the new movie.
