The New Prince of Persia Nearly Made me Cry

Seeing this demo of the new Prince of Persia reminds me what it’s like to be a gamer again. Seriously, I almost choked up at the end of Pt. 2. I am totally sold on Ubisoft’s vision for this game and after the last two iterations that I didn’t really like, I’m ready to get back to that giddy sense of acrobatic wonder with the Prince and his mesmerizing new sidekick Elika.

I’m not thrilled with the new Prince’s face or voice but the gameplay and the visuals are bewildering, truly a playable illustration as they mention in the video. As for the gameplay, well, just watch.
