This Week on YouTube: Uploading the Oldies

You may have noticed some hiccups around GameLuv this past week. We’re in the process of switching hosting and we’ve had to dig up our roots (there’s stuff in here back to 2006) and replant on a more reliable server. In the process I went back through all of our posts (ALL of them) and relinked images and cleaned up busted code. Along the way I found a bunch of old videos I’d hosted on Viddler because, at the time, YouTube wouldn’t let me upload them.

Turns out Viddler recently shut down their old free accounts and all my videos got dumped. Thankfully I’ve still got the source material and that’s what’s been happening on my YouTube channel this week. Old videos rise from the grave! I don’t need to link to them individually as they’re not terribly noteworthy, just check the channel, yo.

I did get one new piece of content up, a complete playthrough of the totally fantastic Virtua Fighter Animation for the Sega Game Gear. It’s another GameFan find that led me to play the game in order to create a ton of gifs for tumblr. They’re still rolling out over there but you can watch my entire recording here… or right in this post.

If you’re looking for some more modern stuff you should check out Katy’s channel. She’s got another installment of Infinite Undiscovery and Jo’s Dream Organic Coffee uploaded.
