Some games are more than the sum of their parts. Their presence goes beyond the arcade cabinet that contains their circuit boards or the disc that holds their bits. Sega’s Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram — the second in the series of one-on-one arena-based fighters — birthed a community of fans and innovative players that’s every bit as dedicated as Capcom’s, and just as active today.
