E3: Devs Jump on Disaster Bandwagon with I Am Alive

Ubisoft’s ‘I Am Alive’ may look flashy and new to some of you but to those of us who have trawled the depths of the PlayStation 2 library, a disaster/survival game is old news. Of course, I’m talking here about my two favorite survival games, Disaster Report and Raw Danger. While I love them endlessly for their disaster setting and comical Japanese stylings (what’s scarier than a disaster? A perv teacher in a disaster!) I’ve always wished they could look better. Granted, this is only a CG trailer but with Ubisoft at the helm I Am Alive will undoubtedly look fantastic when it hits current gen consoles next spring, and make it even harder to return to IREM’s classic adventures.
