Promo Man: Paper Mario Sticker Star?

Potentially gillions of images featuring Mario and his cohorts have been mechanically pressed to sheets of sticky goo over the decades. But no matter how they may glisten or sniff they’ll never top these Donkey Kong stickers from 1982. I only remember the stickers but according to The Gaming Historian they came in packs of Topps Donkey Kong trading cards. The stickers and gum were obviously my favorite part as I don’t remember what a single one of the cards looked like.

Donkey Kong Strikes Again Coloring & Activity Book (1983)

I recently found this old coloring book amongst some childhood junk at home and finally got around to scanning it all in. Even as a kid I had a short attention span and gave up coloring after a few pages but the rest are ready for you to recolor and repurpose for a new era of retro internet mockery.

I really love how Pauline is a superstar and is the only person who can talk to Donkey Kong and how DK goes from content to raging at the mere sight of Mario. Why does he hate him so much? And why does it just end as Pauline is going up the elevator? I guess the book is actually a prequel and this is where the game picks up?
