Could you pass The GameLuv Show a tissue?

We're a little under the weather today

It’s runny noses, clinking tea-stirring spoons, coughs and awkward edits this week as half of The GameLuv Show is sick and another 25% of it just might be. Maxx, on the other hand, got a crazy Razer Naga mouse. All sniffles aside there’s some good talk on this return show that covers old and new alike, including:

And then the very appropriate ‘Calling in Sick Today’ by Weird Al Yankovich takes us back to bed.

The GameBlah Show, Number 68!

Our electric light parade starts out vibrant and loud this week but quickly runs out of steam. Eh, it’s a short show anyhow as Katy and I prepare to run off on another Walt Disney World vacation! Dana joins us (but Maxx was asleep) so we kind of ramble on about a lot of loosely game-related stuff like hanging out with kids and games we used to play around the neighborhood. Oh and also this stuff:
  • The Darkness (yes, the 4 year old one)
  • Minecraft
  • Persona 4/PSP/Catherine
  • Disney Quest
  • Cityville
  • Killing World of Warcraft
P.S. Sorry Maxx……

The GameLuv Show #67 digs into Minecraft

Somehow this has something to do with the show too…

The site’s back, Shawn has Friday off work and Dana’s been drinking coffee again. These things collide to bring you a pretty insane episode of The GameLuv Show (number 60-something-ish). We’re all digging Minecraft right now — wow, what a terrible pun — but there’s so much more for you folks who don’t like the block-stacking simulator.

…and then Katy and Dana somehow get into a socio-political diatribe on America and stuff. But we quickly wrangle things back in and shut it down for Cyndi Lauper’s ‘The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough’!

The GameLuv Show: Go Go MMOrbs!

There’s more of the current discussion about Crackdown 2 (we BEAT it!) and Red Dead Redemption (Maxx BEAT it!) but Maxx brings a good talk about Alan Wake and his new Xbox Slim, Katy’s been playing Go Go Gourmet: Chef of the Year, and Dana takes us on a guided tour of the modern MMO scene. Heroes of the Three Kingdoms, Final Fantasy XIV, Star Trek Online, APB, Guild Wars (it has shark pets!), and more. Here’s the rundown:

  • Crackdown 2
  • Heroes of the Three Kingdoms
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Alan Wake
  • Xbox 360 Slim/Sleek
  • Game Room update
  • Ben There, Dan That or Shawn hates Adventure Games
  • Dana’s MMO Roundup and Real ID recap

The GameLuv Show Loves Orbs and Steam, Hates Battle.NET

The whole crew is back this week in tip-top form! Maxx kicks it off with his souring experience with OnLive (he bought Borderlands for PC), Katy and I fantasize about Agent sex in Crackdown 2, and Dana fills us in on Blizzard’s unsettling Real ID/Battle.NET mess. Oh, and we all flipped out over that Steam summer sale and detail a bunch of games we bought that we probably won’t ever finish! All that and all this too!
