✨ About the Show
In hopes of bringing something a little more unique to YouTube I started ‘It Came From The Collection‘ to chronicle the gaming ephemera I’ve amassed over the years: flyers and pamphlets, pre-order tchotchkes, toys, posters, and all kinds of marketing paperwork. Follow the series on my channel and check out more of my collection on Instagram.

E3 2001: Hands-on with Kameo on GameCube 📺

For the month of June, It Came From The Collection and ICFTC -TV- are going back in time to E3 2000 and 2001! Some of this has been shared on GameLuv in the past but it’s here again with new trimmings and higher resolution video.

After it moved from the Nintendo 64 and before Rare was bought out by Microsoft, Kameo existed on the GameCube and Nintendo had it playable at E3 2001! Check out six minutes of hands-on footage and some chit-chat with the PR rep on hand. I really liked that you could see Kameo inside the various creatures she could summon, it’s quite a change from the Xbox 360 game we ended up with four years later!

📺 About the Show 📺
It Came From The Collection -TV- is a supplemental series to my hands-on videos. These clips, commercials, and programs go live every Saturday morning to recapture the spirit of the legendary cartoon lineups and laser-focused marketing aimed at young minds. I’ve tried to clean up the picture and sound, and render them at 1080p for a more viewable presentation. ICFTC -TV- ! Part of a nutritious breakfast!

It Came From The Collection #9: Jet Set Soundtracks Unwrapped!

EPISODE 09: Jet Set Soundtracks Unwrapped!
I’ve had these sealed Jet Set Radio and JSR Future soundtrack CDs since the early 2000’s and only recently found out they are illicit bootlegs! So now that they’re not valuable let’s rip ‘em open and see what’s inside both soundtracks!! And sorry about the buzzing heard during some of the video, this was my first video after a long, strange break from YouTube and I forgot one crucial part of my recording setup.

It Came From The Collection #8: Exclusive Kirby & Zelda Nintendo DS Stylus

EPISODE 08: Exclusive Kirby & Zelda Nintendo DS Stylus
It’s a short one this week featuring two of the exclusive, mail-order styli I picked up during the heyday of the original Nintendo DS. The first is the sickeningly sweet pink stylus that accompanied the release of Kirby: Canvas Curse. I even have the paper it was taped to in the mail. The second is the much fancier transparent feather stylus that was available from Club Nintendo around the release of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
