Photo Post: DIWhy? An Eye Toy Camera Tripod
Eye Toy Kinetic finally hit discount price at Toys R Us so we picked up a copy. This makes our fifth camera but our first of the sleek newer style and the first we’d seen of the “full action” lens.
Our living room is narrow and the entertainment center is tall so it took some masking tape to get it at a good position before. That’s when I decided to start fiddling.
I picked up the mini tripod at Micro Center for a buck and disassembled the base of one of the old Eye Toy cameras for the platform. It’s basically inverted and wedged onto the screw in the tripod. The camera just sits on top and the whole thing is a lot more positionable now.
