Disqus only obtains consent from users for the collection and processing of data necessary for the use of Disqus. We have elected not to use Disqus’ tracking and affiliate functions.
Currently, users with Disqus accounts can update their settings to opt-out of tracking across all devices and browsers where they are logged in. Logged-out users or readers without Disqus accounts can also opt-out of tracking for individual browsers.
Disqus displays email and IP addresses of users next to their comments in the moderation panel. In advance of May 25th, 2018 this data will be pseudonymised. This means that personally identifiable information will no longer display in the admin panel.
For more on the data that Disqus may store about you as a visitor, please https://disqus.com/support/.
This WordPress plugin provides anonymous IP addresses of anyone who attempts to log into our sites. Sucuri has yet to detail how they will handle compliance with the GDPR at this time.
