titlBoard 360 Announced; Long Ways from Wal-Mart
The Xbox 360 is getting motion controls whether Microsoft wants them or not. First unveiled back in January by modder supreme Adam Thole, chip maker Talismoon quickly approached him to work on an “official” motion sensing product. Although it’s not something you’ll be able to go to Wal-Mart and buy, the tiltBoard 360 is as close to mass market as it’s liable to get with on board memory to store your preferences and intuitive buttons that let you adjust settings as you play.
That said it still requires opening your 360 controller, mounting the U-shaped chip, and soldering seven wires. Yeah, looks like motion control continues to elude my Xbox.
