New games

Gren and I each bought a new game at Best Buy when they had certain Greatest Hits (or $20) games two-for-$25. He got GTA: Vice City Stories and I got Kingdom Hearts 2. Neither of us had played either prior.

Gren is playing Vice City Stories at the moment. Vice City was the GTA I got into most, probably because of the 80s theme and music. I didn’t really do many of the missions though, I mostly went around killing people and listening to 80s music. Talk about a stress reliever!

So watching, my first comment was “wow the graphics really are bad”. If it looked this good on the PSP I guess that isn’t too bad though. Gren kept getting knocked off his motorcycle when I was trying to sing along with the radio and now all he has is a cop’s bike with no radio. 😛
Gren: “Soooorrrry”.

Now he is going into shops and destroying things. “Watch this realistic animation…” Gren said as he hit a clothing rack and it crumpled like twigs. Oh good he’s got a car now, more music!

I didn’t pay too much attention to the story or characters in Vice City, but I recognize the places. We saw the place where the car dealership will be built. When Gren first started playing he was trying to do stuff as if he thought he was playing Crackdown on Xbox 360. I laughed pretty good at that. Now Gren is trying to get stunt bonuses. I think he’s overturned 5 cars by now.
