Simple Series does it again with ‘Armored Machine Soldier Cancer/Gun Ground’
Here it’s called value priced software and it contains all the generic shooters, racers, and kids games that no one even wants to pay $20 for. In Japan, the value priced genre is home to some of the cheapest, wackiest games that I always seem to long for.
The latest in the Simple DS Series line is Vol. 18, or what BabelFish calls ‘Armored Machine Soldier Cancer/Gun Ground’. The translation makes no sense as usual but I did manage to derive that it’s set in a future world overrun with good and bad mechs, offers three selectable units with varying strengths and weaknesses, will feature 120+ weapons and items to equip, and a multi/single card wireless battle for four players and even two player co-op. And as you can see, it just looks kickass and reminds me of those old SNES mech action games that I always wanted but could never afford (I was a Sega kid).
