Jakks Pacific and Namco, Still Chipping Away at Our Childhood

Jakks Pacific and Namco Bandai declared today that you haven’t seen the last of their plug-and-play TV Games as they’ve extended their already long-term licensing agreement.

It looks like Super Pac-Man will headline the next $20 box, but while the agreement is expected to last another three years how long will it take them to work their way up to the dreadful Pac-Man Land and Pac-Man 3D titles?

I know these are cheap emulator boxes designed to appeal to the masses but with equally cheap alternatives like Xbox Live Arcade providing retooled HD visuals how much longer will people put up with the lo-fi yellow-and-red inputs?
