Disaster: Day of Crisis Lives!!

While it’s good to know that Disaster: Day of Crisis hasn’t been canned I’m surprised to see so much of it focus on shooting. I was expecting something more like Disaster Report on PS2 where it’s about adventure and survival, not so much shooting. The CPR minigame looks promising although the fact that you can rack up a combo score multiplier while saving someones life is a little creepy. And it’s nice to see that the game looks halfway decent, even in screenshots. Here’s hoping we get another update in less than a year’s time, though the game is still scheduled for a nebulous release in 2008.
