I normally wouldn’t post about special offers, but this one is too good not to mention. The recent King’s Bounty games are 75% off on Steam right now. That’s $5 for King’s Bounty: The Legend, $10 for the follow-up King’s Bounty: Armored Princess, or get them together as a bundle for the logic defying lower-than-the-sum-of-its-components price of $11.25.

I’ve talked about my love of King’s Bounty before, and will probably continue to sing its praises. All the same, I can’t help but feel the sting of this limited-time sale. I purchased The Legend from Amazon back before Steam carried it. Set me back $30. As soon as Armored Princess appeared on Steam, I pre-ordered it for $35, since it was temporarily $5 less than the regular asking price of $40. Thought I was doing the smart thing by taking advantage of the discount! I guess I should have waited. The lesson to be learned is: No matter what the game is, if it’s a PC game, it’ll eventually be on Steam, and it will eventually be dirt freakin cheap. At least for a couple of days. The sale ends on Thursday, January 14.
