XNA Creators Club in Japan
As much as I really liked Dishwasher: Dead Samurai I’m gonna have to take it down a peg or two next to something like Tsutomu Wada’s ‘Now What to Be?’ in which a man with a traffic cone for a head dangles from a rope which you must guide through rings while your team — including a man with a horse head — cheers you on. Those Japanese, they’ve still got it! It looks like you have to actually be a member of the XNA Creators Club in Japan in order to check out these demos but GameWatch has the scoop on the games, most of which look pretty slick.
Highlights include a puzzle game based on seasons, a Rez look-alike, an on-rails WWII flight shooter, an Armored Core wannabe, Cyber Sled (?!), an RPG in which in which your attacks alter the course of a conversation, and many, many others. They’ve got shots of 24 demos in all. That means there are now more of these demos than Xbox 360’s in Japan. *youch*
