You had Me at ‘Physics Engine’…
Upon first glance it may have reminded me of the bastard child of Kururin and Kirby: Canvas Curse, but after reading the following quote I’ve begrudgingly cast my vote of interest to *sigh* Mister Slime.
“We wanted to take an old-school 2D side-scroller and update it with innovative features and gameplay specific to the platform,” said Djamil Kemal, Development Director at Lexis Numérique. “The advanced physics engine combined with elasticity, and interaction with many different objects creates a very engaging gameplay experience. There is nothing else out there like it.”
Players use the stylus to drag Mister Slime’s arms to various grapple points around the worlds while his elasticity and physics send him sproinging along his merry way. Look for lots of bad guys, pick-ups, and tricky tight spots to really stretch your frustration. I’m not even going to acknowledge that pun. It looks like I won’t have to wait long to see how this one turns out, Mister Slime is due out next month from Southpeak Games.
