Destroy a Controller, Win a Joystick
For those of you out there who can’t help but throw, break, and smash your controller after a crushing defeat, Arcade-in-a-Box has a contest that should bring a smile back to your face. Film the most creative way to destroy a controller, put it on YouTube, and by the end of April the judges will put ten finalists up for public vote. Voting could be problematic as it’s based on how many Diggs each video gets at Digg.com, but your destructive tendencies could net you a custom Arcade-in-a-Box joystick and more (prize info after the break). Need a cheap controller to destroy? Check your EBGameStop, they’ve got tons of dirty old PlayStation 2 pads bagged up and ready to go for a few bucks. I’m not sure if I’ll have time to destroy anything but I’m thinkin’ real hard of fiendishly ironic ways to destroy a controller. How about you? Any ideas guys?
