I like what I stereo-typically should…sometimes

There are games geared towards girls and sometimes I do like them. No I don’t play the Holly Hobby game, but I did look at it because I had a set of Colorforms of her back in the 70s. Do you remember Colorforms? They rocked!

I like cutesy, I admit it! I am a sucker for little kitties and bunnies or hearts and pink. I prefer it with humor or an edge or weirdness, like lolcats or cuteoverload. Sometimes I feel duped by games, like I got suckered in by cuteness and then it’s just a let down in gameplay. I know cute games aren’t the only ones to do this, you can relate to that right? A game plays on your weaknesses and then is average or worse at everything. ARGH!

My weaknesses, other than cute, are tycoon/sim games. Ah yes, playing God and controlling everything! I’m an Aries and we are supposed to be bossy and controlling. I hope this only surfaces in my gaming! Currently I am playing Fish Tycoon on the DS, which is like Plant Tycoon that I was playing on PC, but with fish. I like The Sims, SimCity, Harvest Moon, Tycoon this, Tycoon that, etc!

I also like Hamsterz, Bunniez and games such as that, although they aren’t all very good or keep my attention for long. The combination of a cute game with a sort of controlling game works for me.

Currently playing the following: xbox- Dynasty Warriors 6, DS- Fish Tycoon, Petz: Bunnyz (Just like Hamsterz, but a bunny…grrr) & Super Collapse, PC- sims online.
