Big Fish Games
With games like Virtual Villagers, Plant Tycoon and Fish Tycoon, Big Fish Games is becoming a favorite of mine! (Dionisio found Virtual Villagers 1 @ Big Lots today for $6 for me! Thanks!) I’m checking out their website to see what else they are up to and it looks like they’ve made their own Cooking Mama type game called Cooking Academy.
I love Cooking Mama and Cooking Mama 2 was even better, but I think I shall skip this one, unless I really get hard up for a new game. Part of what I love about Cooking Mama is making things I’ve never eaten that must be Japanese normalities. I love the Japanesey voice that says “Even better than Mama!” when I complete the task well. I don’t think a normal Westerner in a chef’s hat will do it for me even if they do have me prepare gyoza.
I’m still playing Fish Tycoon before bed and on my lunch breaks. I have an upgraded tank, the best quality food, decorations, advertising for my fish store and more. It’s still lots of fun and reminds me that I never did finish Plant Tycoon. One day I shall return to that one!
Either way it appears that as long as Big Fish Games remains in business I shall never be able to say “I have nothing to play!” Look at this, even an Ice Cream Tycoon game! It never ends!
