Crusty Memories from Pizza Hut
Nowadays this corner of Pizza Hut is used for little more than storage for highchairs and booster seats, but I remember a day when I would run screaming with pizza sauce still dripping from my fingers, dig into my pockets and pop a quarter into a new-ish arcade game.
This was the early 90’s when Pizza Hut was the place to eat pizza and at the height of the coin-op arcade business. Games impossible on a home console, games like Sunset Riders, Rastan, and of course, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Sadly, those days are gone now, only sticky floors and sunset-faded wood paneling remain at most Pizza Hut locations. Another remnant of the long dead U.S. arcade scene.
