Long before Kameo was a launch title for the Xbox 360 (and a subsequent failure) it was going to be a must-have, long-awaited “return to form” for Rare on the GameCube. But things change, time passes, and before you know it the once-devout Nintendo first-party developer was suddenly adapting and updating the game for twice-over next-gen hardware. I personally liked what I saw of the GameCube version much better than the eventual 360 edition. I liked seeing Kameo inside the animals and her changing animations and the giant worlds to leap and fly over.
