Footage of Project Gotham Racing 4 Looks Decidedly Wet

For all you passing the time creating custom paint jobs in Forza 2, Bizarre Creations would like to remind you that Project Gotham Racing 4 is still on its way with this first look at St. Petersburg and the much talked about weather system. It’s hard to see the beeding and rolling trails of rain in the video but if you’ve seen screenshots you know they’re in there.

Obviously, how the rain looks isn’t the big news, it’s how it will allegedly effect the gameplay. Rather than just make the cars slip a little more, the team promises that the weather will make a dramatic impact on how you drive, not only race to race but also lap to lap. Bold!

The video takes place in the beautiful cityscape of Nurburgring. Additionally, you will be able to tear through the streets of North in Quebec. These two cities, along with St. Petersburg, are three of 10 locations in PGR 4. More information announcing the rest of the cities will follow soon. PGR 4 will also feature some of the world’s most iconic cars, as new vehicles are lined up and ready to be driven, including the following:

* ’62 Ferrari 250 GTO
* ’67 Toyota 2000GT
* ’78 Lamborghini Countach LP400
* ’98 Subaru Impreza 22B STi

* ‘04 BMW M5
* ’07 Ruf RGT 997
* ’07 Lotus GT3RR
