I hope you like old shit cause that’s all I’ve got for the foreseeable future! We kicked off Monday with the fantastic CD-i infomercial that promises to provide the meaning of life and a local TV spot from when I was a kid that used Virtuality arcade machines to tie into the premiere of VR Troopers.
Tuesday I loaded up an original issue copy of Crash Bandicoot that I picked up last weekend to make sure the disc works. I still have one of my original save files so we flub through a half hour of different levels, reminiscing about Crash and the mascot triumvirate of the mid-90’s. Wednesday was a trip back to the modest show floor of the CinciClassic 2005; one of the rare gatherings of game stuff that ever happened in my hometown.
Thursday saw part two of my Virtual Hydlide playthrough that highlights the game’s ability to make everything look red when you put on these glasses. And Friday features one of my favorite glitches; a scripting error in a pre-release version of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
