Ridiculous Amount of Video Game Icons for Your Computer

It’s a real shame, ya know. I’ve spent the last couple years trying to cut down on the number of icons littering my desktop and then I go and find iVGi, a wonderful site with nearly 2,000 homemade video game icons. Click the image above for the full size view of just a handful of what’s on the site.

The icons are broken down into packs of seemingly random games and there’s also a pack of hardware shots and artwork. I’m pretty sure I grabbed them all and so far have only found a use for about 10 of them but most all of them are awesome.

It’s the kind of icons you’d make if you made icons. The iconic weapons and imagery from Wipeout, the delicious snacks from James Pond, the GOOD Konami logo, and lots of hot Joust ostiches. Check it out already and confuse yourself by changing your Firefox icon to the Elf from Gauntlet.
