An Inside Look At Wii Marketing

Let the marketeering begin! Engadget’s gotten their hands on some insider (read: secretive cell phone camera) images of Wii accessories and displays for Target stores. Here’s a little primer:

Until Nintendo rolls out the official alternate color WiiWands we’ll have to settle for cheap plastic “skins”. Dog tags let you accessorize either 1) your clothes or 2) your WiiWand. And of course there’s plenty of generic branded disc cases and storage devices.

One interesting bit, there seem to be plenty of GBA/DS storage cases in Wii packaging. It’s doubtful that the last monstrous Wii secret is built-in GBA/DS hardware. More likely it’s designed to sit alongside your growing Wii collection to keep all your hip stuff organized.
