It’s Free! on PlayStation Store for April 4th
It’s early in a new month and that means it’s time for PlayStation Plus members to scoop up some freebies for their multiplayer games: 50 Happy Jewels are all yours for Happy Dungeons, there’s a pack of goodies for Knights of Valor, and the new-to-consoles MMO, TERA, has a bundle of boosters and gear for subscribers. The only other freebie this week is Khalid Young Dumb & Broke VR, a new PSVR experience that I’m a little flabbergasted by. I’ll let the PR copy try to explain:
As part of its Lost in Music campaign, Sony collaborated with Khalid to wow music fans, taking them on a journey through one of his epic music videos. The RIAA certified 3x platinum single, Young Dumb & Broke provides the backdrop for this ground breaking PlayStation®VR piece, one which will transport you through an immersive experience never before seen in VR. Once in the VR world, you are immediately placed in the driver’s seat of a classic car. Khalid, making his first appearance in VR, will then welcome you and take you on an amazing trip through cityscapes, the far reaches of the cosmos and high school football fields. You will encounter swarms of jellyfish swirling rhythmically, gargantuan orbiting planets, as well as many other surprises in a music experience only possible through the power of PlayStation®VR. The Young Dumb & Broke music video will be projected onto this mesmerizing world, transforming it into a unique extrasensory adventure.
So… that should be something to see, at least it’s free. Let me know what you think if you check that out.
